Adriano Ardovino (Rome, 1973) is Full Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the Università degli Studi ‘Gabriele d’Annunzio’ Chieti-Pescara, where he serves as Director of the Department of Philosophical, Pedagogical and Social Sciences. President of the Società Italiana di Filosofia Teoretica since 2022, he has conducted research periods at the Universities of Freiburg im Breisgau, Heidelberg, Tübingen, and Humboldt University of Berlin. A leading Italian specialist of Martin Heidegger, he has published extensively on pre-Socratic thought, classical German philosophy, phenomenology, hermeneutics, and post-structuralism, carrying out research in the fields of aesthetics, metaphysics, philosophy of religion, literature, and technology.
