The 42nd Annual Sanskrit Traditions Symposium

The 41st annual The Sanskrit Traditions Symposium will take place in Oxford, at Trinity College, on Friday 22 May 2026 (11am – 5pm), hosted by the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies.

This year we have the following papers:

• Maximillian Hoth (Hamburg), The ‘gajavṛṣabhanyāya’ – Śivānanda’s Interpretation of a Visual Analogy from South: Indian Temple Architecture in his commentary on the Mātṛkācakraviveka
