Outline
The third conference dedicated to natural sciences and technology in manuscript analysis continues the tradition of bringing together scholars and scientists from the fields of the humanities, chemistry, physics, biology, computer science and data science. Also, this time the conference will provide a forum for discussing various aspects of manuscripts and presenting new results, technologies, and approaches. Contributions are solicited for original research work stressing the role of the natural sciences and technology in the following areas:
- Recovering lost writing
- Material analysis of writing material
- Image analysis of visual manuscript features
The conference will be hosted by the Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures (CSMC) at Universität Hamburg, participation is free.
